In An Epic Ending you play the final chapter in the story of a group of fantasy heroes. This is your last chance to stop a villain threatening all of reality.

Even if you succeed, however, you won’t get to live to see the results of your heroism. You've consulted the oracle and they've spoken: the thread of your life, for good or ill, ends at this juncture. This didn't discourage you or your friends, though: your heroism is such that you don't mind dying if that saves the world.
